Cüneyt Çakır, who will start his 22nd season in the Super League, has played in 385 matches, becoming the player who has played the most matches among his active colleagues at the top level.
Cüneyt Çakır is among the referees who will serve in the league this season, followed by Hüseyin Göçek, who whistled in 285 matches in 18 seasons.

There are 24 names in the Super League referee list determined by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Central Referee Board for the 2022-2023 season.

In the new season, the most names from Istanbul were included in the Super League referee list.
In the list of referees from 13 provinces, 8 from Istanbul, 4 from Ankara, 2 from Antalya, one each from Adana, Aydın, Bursa, Çanakkale, Denizli, Eskişehir, İzmir, Kayseri, Sakarya and Trabzon.
REFEREES WITH FIFA CARD
7 of the referees who will work in Spor Toto Super League in the new season have FIFA badges.
In addition to Cüneyt Çakır, Turkey’s most career referee, Ali Palabıyık, Halil Umut Meler, Arda Kardeşler, Abdulkadir Bitigen, Yaşar Kemal Uğurlu and Zorbay Küçük will manage the match as referees with FIFA license.
11 REFEREES WILL WORK IN VAR
In the list determined by the Central Referee Board of the Turkish Football Federation, 11 names will serve as Video Assistant Referees (VAR) in the Super League in the new season.
The VAR list included Emre Malok, Özgür Yankaya, Alper Çetin, Erkan Engin, Özgüç Türkalp, Serkan Tokat, Alper Ulusoy, Hakan Ceylan, Koray Gençerler, Mustafa Teacheroğlu and Bülent Birioğlu.
