Cultuurfonds Drenthe makes the cut and supports 37 projects for more than a ton

The board of the Prince Bernhard Cultuurfonds Drenthe has made 114,037 euros available for 37 projects in Drenthe in the field of culture and nature management, all initiatives of foundations and associations of amateurs and volunteers. There are one or more projects in almost all Drenthe municipalities that receive an allowance. Only Borger-Odoorn remains behind.

The project that can count on the highest contribution is the Association in Verhalen Foundation, which will receive 10,000 euros for the Bommen Berend concert that will take place on 25 and 26 August in Coevorden. A special music theater piece will be composed for this concert, which will be performed by Royal Military Band Johan Willem Friso. Three soloists sing about the scenes in the piece.

Furthermore, the Church Concerts Vries Foundation (6,892 euros for the concert series from 2022-2023) and the Grauwe Kiekendief Foundation (6,000 euros for the education project Increasing the survival possibilities of curlew chicks in Drenthe farmland) can also count on relatively high contributions. In addition, nine of the 37 projects can count on a contribution of 5,000 euros.
