That must be a good feeling: being in the Lekker500. That’s what the top chefs at Hofstede Meerzigt restaurant in Zoetermeer can say. This business is in the new restaurant guide, 2026 edition.

The guide has been in stores since Tuesday, November 4. Only the restaurants that have been chosen by the jury as the 100 best in the Netherlands have a ranking. The other four hundred (including those in Zoetermeer) are among the five hundred best restaurants, but have not been given a specific place.

According to Lekker500, Restaurant Hofstede Meerzigt is one of the culinary top in the Netherlands. What an achievement! The guide writes about the restaurant: “With chef Alain Adriaanse at the helm and sommelier Sermad Wartan offering perfectly matched wine-food combinations, Hofstede Meerzigt guarantees a refined and unique evening.”
