A new surge of unrest in Kazakhstan is hardly possible, the country’s authorities are in full control of the situation. About this in interview RT said CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas.

“I would not talk about the danger of some kind of revenge or a new surge. I am practically sure that this is impossible, because, firstly, the situation is under control. Secondly, now a lot of work is being done to clarify the whole picture, all the participants, ”Zas believes.

There was a video of the landing of Il-76 with Russian peacekeepers from Kazakhstan

According to the secretary general of the organization, all parties drew conclusions based on the results of the events in Kazakhstan. Zas added that the entry of peacekeepers also became a lesson for the CSTO. At the same time, he stated that there is no need to rebuild the organization’s system of work.

“I see no need for a serious restructuring of our activities. Because that system, those mechanisms that we created in the CSTO, now really worked – and they worked well, ”he stressed.
