It is busy on the way to Sail due to an accident on the provincial road N99 near Breezand. The road is closed there, which means that traffic on the way to Sail Den Helder and the Marine Days is stuck.
The road between Anna Paulowna and Breezand is closed in both directions. Visitors on their way to Sail Den Helder can take a detour via the Balgweg.
It is also busy on the N9, where it will take you about 7 minutes longer to travel north.
Rear-end collision
“Three cars were involved in the rear-end collision,” said a police spokesman. “There is a lot of material damage and four people have been taken to the hospital for a check-up.”
The salvage work is progressing quickly. “We expect it won’t be long before the road can reopen”
