First bonus points awarded

The first bonus points for the sprint evaluation have been awarded. Johanna Hagström takes the lead once and is the first at this point. With 15 points and a good lead over Nepryaeva, who is tenth with only one point, she is already sure of this special ranking, no matter what happens in the second bonus sprint.

Diggins leads the field

The field is led by Jessica Diggins. For a long time, the American was the top favorite on the overall Tour victory until she crashed in the Oberstdorf sprint after being touched by Frida Karlsson and was eliminated in the quarter-finals. If she gets over the ascent well, there is still something in it for her too.

11:33

Fall on the descent

There is a fall in the turmoil on the narrow descent! Louise Lindström from Switzerland stumbled and landed rudely in the snow. The favorites for the overall victory will certainly come through.

Here we go!

The starting shot has been fired and the cross-country skiers set out on the route together. First it goes through the stadium, before it goes on the long transport road to the final climb to the middle station of the Alpe Cermis.

Two Swiss women

Switzerland is still represented by two athletes at the final stage. The duo is led by Nadine Fähndrich, who was definitely not happy in the classic mass start yesterday when she jumped out 27th. Lydia Hiernickel is next to her at the approach.

Stadlober is looking at the top ten

Like Katharina Hennig, Teresa Stadlober is tackling the top ten in the overall ranking of the Tour de Ski today. The Austrian is in eighth place before the final stage and with a good race she certainly has the chance to catch a few more competitors.

11:17

Hennig in a good position

Katharina Hennig is in a good starting position. Although the tour is very sprint-heavy this year, the German still achieved a good ninth place in the overall standings. In addition to her, the young athletes could also excel in the classic mass start yesterday. Katharine Sauerbrey was a great twelfth, Lisa Lohmann just missed her partial norm for the Olympics in 16. Now it will be interesting to see what she can show on the tough climb. Antonia Fräbel, Pia Fink and Sofie Krehl complete the DSV team.

11:11

47 athletes on the start list

At the grand finale of the Tour de Ski there are still 47 athletes on the start list. Everyone who arrives at the top will also receive World Cup points afterwards. There are 400 points for the winner of the tour, from 41st place there are still five points.

Can Andersson Capture Nepryaeva?

As the overall leader of the tour, Natalia Nepryaeva from Russia is entering the final stage. But she certainly can’t rest, despite a lead of 1:12 minutes over Ebba Andersson. Nepryaeva should have the last year in mind, in which Andersson had lost 1:40 minutes with a top time in the final climb. The third, Kerttu Niskanen, goes into the last stage 1:19 minutes behind.
