Cross-country skiing: lack of snow: route change at the World Cup in Lillehammer

Status: 11/18/2022 11:31 a.m

Lack of snow in Norway leads to a change in course length at the Cross-Country Skiing World Cup in Lillehammer from December 2nd to 4th.

As the world association Fis announced, instead of a skiathlon with 15 kilometers each in classic and free technique, a classic 20-kilometer mass start run will be held on December 4th.

All other competitions, including those for ski jumping and Nordic combined, remain unchanged as things stand.
