The Miss Finland organization will hold a press conference today, Thursday at 12 o’clock.
The organization tells about the Miss Finland 2025 situation regarding the event and the related follow-up measures. Iltalehti follows the press conference from 12 o’clock.
Yesterday, the Miss Finland organization said that they will hold a meeting with the reigning Miss Finland today.
– An official meeting will be held with the reigning Miss Finland tomorrow, where these issues will be thoroughly discussed and further measures will be decided, the organization’s statement said.
Dzafce has recently been in the middle of a racist uproar, when a photo spread in the anonymous Jodel messaging service, in which Dzafce stretched his eyes crookedly with his fingers. The text “eating with the Chinese” was written on the picture. Some of the social media users interpreted that the miss is making fun of Asians.
On Monday, Dzafce apologized for his actions on Instagram. The Miss Finland organization also commented on the racism noise.
– We are sincerely sorry for the bad mood and inappropriate behavior caused by Miss Finland. It is not in line with our values and never our purpose, the organization announced on Instagram.
– We at Finnartist Oy and the Miss Finland competition believe that asking for forgiveness and being forgiven are both equally important. They do not erase what happened, but they enable growth, learning and humanity, the publication added.

The scandal got new rounds when Dzafce published a touching video about the plane’s business class on his Tiktok account.

The video has since been removed.
The incident has led to a discussion about whether Miss Finland can lose her crown. Leading the mission organization Sunneva Sjögren’s according to, losing the crown is possible in very exceptional situations.
