The police horses who were hit in Den Bosch last Wednesday are improving. The brown horse that sustained a few scratches can now carefully rebuild the work. The fungus, which was hit lightly, also runs well again. The police report this.
Both horses stay on the stable of the mounted police and have been investigated several times by a veterinarian. Also with the riders it is heading in the right direction. These agents can be used again.
The 50-year-old motorist from Sint-Michielsgestel can await the court case at home. He is suspected of attempting manslaughter, driving on after an accident, driving under the influence and insulting an agent. His delivery van was seized.
Lame
According to the police, the man would have taken off at the offensive to the police of the National Unit. When he was approached, he boarded his vehicle and then drove into the horses. Then he ran off at high speed. Not much later he was arrested at home.

The suspect must remain available for the police and probation service until the court case. In addition, he is obliged to follow a treatment that he had already started before the incident. What the treatment is concerned has not been announced.
