Crazy final phase with four dismissals in Juventus draw

The Italian soccer record champions Juventus Turin averted the first defeat of the season with a lot of effort.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri’s team saved a point in added time in the highly entertaining 2-2 (0-2) win against US Salernitana on Sunday evening.

Leonardo Bonucci (90+3) scored the equalizer in a wild final phase. Antonio Candreva (18th) and Krzysztof Piatek (45th + 4), on loan from Bundesliga club Hertha BSC, had given the guests from Salerno the lead. The Brazilian Bremer (51st) scored the connection.

Juve even celebrated the supposed winner when Arkadiusz Milik struck in the fourth minute of added time.

However, Bonucci was actively offside during the development, the decision was reversed by the video assistant.

Allegri, Cuadrado and Milik were sent off

During the decision-making process, which lasted several minutes, both Allegri and Juve professional Juan Cuadrado, who had not been substituted, and guest player Federico Fazio saw the red card.

Milik was also sent off with yellow and red because he had already been warned that he had taken off his jersey after the supposed winning goal.

With just two wins from six games, Juve are four points behind leaders SSC Napoli.

At noon, the previous table leader Atalanta Bergamo failed to push the Neapolitans back from the top in a 1-1 (0-0) win against newly promoted US Cremonese.
