Couple sacrifices themselves to save their twins during Kfar Aza massacre: babies found alive 14 hours later | Israel-Palestine conflict

LOOK. There is rubble everywhere and you see bodies: Israeli Major General Itai Veruv reacts in shock

Kfar Aza is a kibbutz about 5 kilometers east of Gaza. Hamas militants entered the village on Saturday and slaughtered entire families in their beds: men, women and even babies.

When Itai and Hadar Berdichevsky noticed something was happening, they acted immediately. They picked up their twins and hid the babies in a bomb shelter they used during air raids. They then returned and tried to defend themselves against the Hamas militants who had now entered their house. In doing so, they also diverted attention from their children.

According to the Israeli news channel ‘Walla’, the couple died. However, the children were unharmed. They were found alive and well by Israeli soldiers 14 hours later. They are now being cared for by their grandmother.

Other victims of the Kfar Aza massacre are now also given a face. For example, a woman says that her niece Livnat, her husband Aviv and their three children were also brutally murdered in their own home. On Saturday, when the air raid siren went off, they allegedly tried to take shelter in their air-raid shelter, but in vain. The Hamas militants found them and killed all five.
