10 counterfeit Stanley Cup rings have been seized by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Copies of the 1936 Detroit Red Wings victory rings were found at Champlain’s port of entry in New York.

The price of the rings is estimated to be $ 15,000, or just over $ 14,000.

The Buffalo Customs and Border Protection commented jokingly in its Twitter post.

Detroit has won the Stanley Cup 11 times, the most recent being in the 2007-2008 season.
