Could. HFC does not benefit from AFC loss, Jong Volendam makes leader tremble

In the second division, the North Holland teams experienced quite a few goal-rich matches on Saturday afternoon. Royal HFC was given the opportunity to take over second place due to AFC’s draw, but also played a 2-2 draw. AFC – Quick Boys (2-2)

Thanks to hits from Fernando Lewis and Darren Maatsen, it was Quick Boys who took the lead after half an hour at Sportpark Goed Enough. ASWH – Royal HFC

Due to AFC’s loss of points, Koninklijke HFC was able to take over second place. Then ASWH had to be made. Just before half time, the team from Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht turned the game around thanks to goals from Jay Brand and Jorginho Soares. Katwijk – Young FC Volendam

A stunt seemed in the making for Jong FC Volendam for a long time. The team trainer Kiki Musampa took a 2-0 lead within fifteen minutes thanks to Rob Tol and Jim Beers. Bart Sinteur and Ahmed El Azzouti put things in order for the men of Anthony Correia. The match seemed to end in a draw, but just before the end Raoul Esseboom scored the 3-2 for Katwijk.
