Costs for dementia amount to 32 billion euros and will continue to rise: ‘Invest in solutions, otherwise things will get out of hand’

Dementia cost Dutch society almost 32 billion euros in healthcare and social costs last year. This is evident from new research by Erasmus University Rotterdam and Alzheimer Nederland. The researchers assume that these costs will increase further in the coming years.
