Cos, a brand of the Swedish fashion group H&M Group, has announced its expansion into Mexico.
The first Mexican store is scheduled to open in the capital, Mexico City, next summer, Cos announced on Wednesday. The 486 square meter flagship is located in the Antara open-air shopping center in the Polanco district.
“Opening a flagship store in Mexico is an incredibly exciting move for Cos,” said Katie Reeves, Cos general manager for North America. “We are always looking for new markets to introduce people to our brand and we believe Antara is the perfect place to open.”
Launched in 2007, Cos has since expanded into Europe, Asia Pacific, North America and the Middle East. The brand currently operates 264 stores in 48 markets. In addition, Cos is represented in 39 markets in online retail.
