Bundesliga club 1. FC Union Berlin may be able to use Sheraldo Becker again on Saturday against TSG Hoffenheim, but will probably have to do without Rick van Drongelen.
While attacker Becker was able to leave his corona quarantine, defender van Drongelen is suspected of being infected with the corona virus.
As manager Oliver Ruhnert explained to the “kicker”, a quick test at van Drongelen was positive. The result of the PCR test was still pending, it may not be available until Thursday.
“It is probably positive. But we still have to wait and see if it is actually the case. We haven’t got the result yet,” said Ruhnert.
