The practice match that Ajax would play this afternoon against Eintracht Frankfurt is cancelled. This has to do with several Ajax players who tested positive for corona on Friday evening.
After Ajax contacted Eintracht Frankfurt about this, it was jointly decided not to let the match go ahead. The game was to be played at 3 p.m. The selection and staff will fly back to Amsterdam today according to schedule. The positively tested Ajax players will not fly back.
The squad is currently in Austria for the final training camp in preparation for the new season. The first game is scheduled for July 30. Then PSV is the opponent in the Arena in the duel for the Johan Cruijff Scale.
