Coolblue reports fraud against Sywert van Lienden | Financial

Coolblue plans to request compensation of almost half a million euros.

After temping group Randstad, Coolblue is the second company to file a report in the so-called face masks affair. According to lawyer Sabine Pijl, who represents Coolblue, the company cooperated selflessly with the Auxiliary Troops Alliance, because it was always assured that it was a non-profit initiative for healthcare, de Volkskrant reports.

“That was also a strict condition of the company,” said Pijl in de Volkskrant. “If Coolblue had known that the gentlemen also traded commercially, the collaboration would never have come about.” The company helped, among other things, with the construction of the webshop and the order processing.
