Convincingly Lebo beats El Morabiti without a coach from fellow countryman Veerhuys

Lebo won the North Holland derby against HV Veerhuys 6-1. This game was actually scheduled for Wednesday-evening, but because of Morocco’s semi-final at the World Cup, the game has been brought forward by two days. By the way, Lebo coach Zaid el Morabiti was not on the bench, because he is in Qatar these days.

Zaid el Morabiti already told NH Sport this weekend that he found it a difficult dilemma. Stay in Qatar and watch the historic semi-final in Morocco live or go back to the Netherlands and coach Lebo. At that time, Lebo’s game against Veerhuys was still scheduled for Wednesday. The Amsterdam futsal coach also hoped that the KNVB would move the match, because Lebo has many players with Moroccan roots.

With assistant trainers Mohamed Akazim and Ricardo de Sanders on the bench, Lebo defeated Veerhuys with clear numbers. This means that everyone from the Amsterdam club can watch the semi-finals of Morocco on Wednesday with a good feeling.

Because of the win, Lebo is third in the ranking and Veerhuys is ninth. The top eight teams qualify for the championship pool.
