The Veldhovense anesthesiologist Jens Fischer who illegally treated 200 children with an umbilical cord blood can simply continue his work in a dental practice in Oirschot. The doctor, who says with these treatments to cure autism and cerebral palsy, received a firm tap on the fingers from the Healthcare and Youth Inspectorate. But that does not have to have any consequences for his work with them from the dental practice in Oirschot.

In December 2024, the Inspectorate unannounced a visit to the anesthesiologist. The conversation showed that he treated 180 children for autism, 20 children for cerebral palsy and 20 adults who had had a stroke. Fischer claimed that his treatment could heal autism. According to him, one of the children could even count after the treatment, something that it couldn’t do before. “This patient was repeated three times,” the inspection report can be read.

Blood bag in the fridge
In addition to the treatments with umbilical cord blood for a Swiss company, Fischer also worked as a self -employed person at two Brabant dental practices. There too, unannounced visits were made by the inspection.

In the practice in Best, inspectors found a used bag of umbilical cord blood in a refrigerator in a storage space. According to the report, the location manager was not aware of this. “We had already ended the collaboration with him at the time,” she now tells Omroep Brabant. “The research was only about his work outside our practice.”

The manager does not want to say whether the termination of the collaboration had to do with the controversial treatment methods of the anesthesiologist. According to the dental practice, no patients with umbilical cord blood have been treated.

Collaboration
A dental practice in Oirschot was also investigated by the inspection. There he also worked as a self -employed person. The 51-year-old Fischer also rented its own treatment room in the building, which, according to this location manager, was “loose” from the dental practice. “I don’t know what happened there in that room, I don’t know that about my neighbor either.”

The manager sees no reason to cancel the collaboration with the anesthetist. “As long as there is no case at the disciplinary court, we have no reason to stop.”

Germany
In addition to anesthesiist at the Dental Practice, Fischer also works as a senior arts at the German hospital Neuwerkk in Mönchengladbach.
