Borussia Dortmund stands in front of a lucrative supplier deal. This is intended to secure the club in the long term in three -digit millions.

Puma has been equipping BVB for over a decade – and the collaboration should now go into a new phase. As the “Ruhr Nachrichten” report, Borussia Dortmund is in advanced talks with his long -time supplier. The contract with Puma, which is currently still ongoing by 2028, is to be extended prematurely by six years to 2034. As part of the new contract, BVB could receive a total of over 300 million euros.

According to the report, the exact sum is made up of various components: Up to 28 million euros per season are fixed, with corresponding successes, the payment by bonus payments could even increase to up to 35 million euros. In addition, there would be a one -off payment of 27 million euros in the case of contract signature.

The deal would be one of the largest in the history of the club and could become a central legacy of Hans-Joachim Watzke. The long -time managing director will withdraw from his post at the end of 2025.

Puma and Borussia Dortmund have been working together since 2012. At that time, the sporting goods manufacturer had taken on the role as an official supplier. During the last contract extension in 2019, Watzke emphasized: “Puma has not only been a supplier and sponsor for a long time, but also a heavyweight in the shareholder structure of our club.”
