Remko Pasveer will also be part of the Ajax selection next season. The keeper, who will turn 40 on November 8, has extended his expiring contract by one season. The Amsterdammers announced this this afternoon.
Pasveer made the switch from Vitesse to Ajax two years ago. In the ’21/’22 season he won the national title. He also made his debut in the Dutch national team under national coach Louis van Gaal, for which he played twice. Van Gaal took Pasveer to the World Cup in Qatar where he did not make any minutes.
At Ajax, Pasveer started this season as the first goalkeeper, but after the arrival of Géronimo Rulli he is reserve keeper. After the winter break, he played two more matches for the team from Amsterdam. He has a total of fifty official matches to his name at Ajax.
