He is worth his weight in gold for Eintracht Braunschweig – also because of his speed. In a ranking of the fastest players in Germany, the BTSV top scorer ends up at the top.

Christian Conteh can look back on a strong first half of the season in the 2nd Bundesliga: the offensive player contributed five goals and three assists Eintracht Braunschweig in the first series for his team. One of his biggest unique selling points is without a doubt his speed.

As a ranking by “Kicker” shows, the 26-year-old has long been in the top class and is at the top when compared to players in the Bundesliga and the 2nd Bundesliga. According to the sports magazine, the speed dribbler was measured at 36.12 km/h – making it the third best value of all players in Germany’s two top leagues. Only Jonas Therkelsen from second division club Holstein Kiel (36.21 km/h) and Bryan Lasme from second division leaders FC Schalke 04 (36.39 km/h) were faster.

Incidentally, Conteh is not the only Eintracht professional in the “Kicker” rankings, who made it into the top 20 thanks to their speed. Striker Erencan Yardimci takes 14th place with 35.73 km/h, Leon Bell Bell follows in 20th place with 35.51 km/h. From the Bundesliga, Oliver Burke from Union Berlin was measured as the fastest player with 36.01 km/h. He is in fifth place.
