Construction worker who was rescued alive from the rubble of a collapsed tower in Rome after 11 hours has still died

The man who was pulled alive from the rubble on Monday evening about eleven hours after the collapse of the medieval Torre dei Conti in the center of Rome, died during the night. The 66-year-old construction worker arrived at the hospital in cardiac arrest and could not be resuscitated, the Umberto I hospital confirmed to the Italian news agency ANSA.
