The bridge is an extension of the Voetbalstraat and Noordburgweg. It will be a steel fixed bridge with a span of 18.3 meters long and 3 meters wide. The slope remains limited, which keeps it comfortable for cyclists.
The city of Veurne and the Flemish Waterweg together invest 3.88 million euros in the new bridge.
