New 70LUX project with 134 rental and owner-occupied apartments will be built on the corner of Luxembourglaan in the center of the city. 46 owner-occupied apartments will be built on the Zalkerbos in the Meerzicht district.
Apartments in the city center
The existing office building on Luxemburglaan will be demolished. It will be replaced by a residential complex with 134 apartments. There will be both rental and owner-occupied homes and a parking garage for residents. The apartment building will be 70 meters high and will have 23 floors. Commercial spaces will be built on the ground floor.
Lake View Apartments
Young starters (empty-nesters) may be eligible for one of the 46 owner-occupied apartments in the Ikaros new-build project. A new building with a meeting room for residents on the ground floor will be built on the site of the car dealership at Zalkerbos. The current garage will be demolished, but residents will soon be able to park on their own property.
