The accident happened Friday afternoon for unknown reasons. One of the carts fell from the Calidius. It is an attraction where visitors are lifted up to 10 meters in gondolas and rotated for a wide view. This attraction has only been in operation since last September.
According to estimates, the cart fell about 5 to 6 meters on Friday for unknown reasons, the spokesman said. At the time, a family was in the cart, two adults and two children. A child and two adults were taken to hospital with unknown injuries.

The park is known for its strict standards.”
“The guests in the other carts have been taken care of,” said the spokesman. Victim support was also called in. The spokesperson could not say when it became clear what was going on. “The NVWA has taken all logs and computer data and is also conducting an investigation on the spot.” It remains to be seen, he said.
The Fairytale Forest reopened on Saturday morning. Only the Calidius will remain closed for the time being.
