Concession conversation takes a different turn in ‘Buying without Looking’

Rob and Lotte put the team of Buy without to look for a tough assignment: Lotte would love to continue living in bustling Den Bosch, but Rob would rather leave for a village with lots of greenery nearby.

Housing wishes

It is a choice that Rob and Lotte cannot make themselves, because the couple has been looking for a home for more than a year. Fortunately, their housing requirements are clear: they are looking for a single-family home of at least 100 m2 with three bedrooms, a garden, a bath and a wood stove. All this may cost a maximum of 390,000 euros. Estate agent Alex van Keulen will ultimately have to decide whether their dream home is located in the center or close to nature.

Concession Clock

After the conversation with Alex, the couple is given a concession clock to take home. If this countdown clock is at zero and no house has been found yet, Rob and Lotte have to make a concession. The panic sets in when the clock strikes almost zero and none of them yet Buy without looking came by with good news.

Stop search

The next day Alex is at the door and that often means bad news. “It just doesn’t work. There is a good chance that I will have to stop looking tomorrow,” the broker tells the couple. Lotte asks reports whether this is due to the budget. “No, it’s because we’ve already bought a house”, Alex laughs as he conjures up the key.

Renovation

A beautiful home has been found for the couple just outside Den Bosch. Rob and Lotte are so happy with it that they decide to give construction expert Bob Sikkes an extra budget of 10,000 euros. A good choice, because when the house has been completely renovated, the two are so happy that tears are in their eyes.

Comments

Although a house has finally come along without steel doors and herringbone floor, viewers are divided about the colorful interior.
