A concert in the RAI in Amsterdam was canceled on Saturday evening by the Amsterdam triangle (mayor, police chief and chief officer) just before the start due to an “unsafe situation for the visiting public”. This is reported by the Amsterdam police on X. “It has just been decided that visitors must leave the hall and are asked to go home.”

According to a police spokesperson, it concerns a concert by the Afghan artist Sharafat Parwani. More than a thousand visitors were present in the hall. It is not clear what kind of threat this is

The hall was cleared around 11:15 p.m. The Mobile Unit was on site to maintain order. No problems arose during the evacuation.
