On the sixth day of the trial, Ofarim admitted to inventing the accusations. He apologized to the hotel employee who accepted the apology. The procedure was set on the condition that Ofarim pays 5,000 euros to the Jewish community in Leipzig and to the memorial and educational institution- House of the Wannsee conference. He was also obliged to make compensation for the accused hotel employee.
In the permanent shit storm
