A National Football Team Coach Stefan Kuntz made a statement to the German news site Bild. Noting that Arda Güler was called to the National Team for the first time by himself, Kuntz said, “He is on the way to becoming the new Messi, but not yet Messi.”
Stating that Güler should continue to train at a high level, the 60-year-old coach said, “Arda must continue to play. He still needs to develop physically. He has an extraordinary talent. He has excellent technique and strong passes. He knows exactly how to direct the game. Arda ‘ has his own understanding of football. Talent alone is not enough. Arda should say to himself ‘I am not satisfied, I do not rest, I am never satisfied’ and develop himself even more for a great career.
