Ajax announced that the ongoing negotiations for compensation with the family of Abdelhak Nouri, who fell into a coma after getting sick in the friendly match played against Werder Bremen 4.5 years ago and woke up 2.5 years later, have come to an end.
The player, who was then 22 years old and had an automatic contract extension clause in his contract after 1 July 2020, was not exercised by his club Ajax.
