After the arson attack on a van belonging to a logistics company in Schöneberg, the State Criminal Police Office is investigating.

Because of a burning car in front of an underground car park in the courtyard of a residential complex on Kielganstraße, several residents alerted the fire brigade and police on Monday. The car caught fire around 1 a.m.

When the fire brigade arrived, the van was already fully engulfed in flames. The road had to be completely closed for about an hour to put out the fire. According to the police, there were no injuries. The adjacent residential buildings were also not endangered. However, the MAN car burned out completely.

After the fire brigade, the State Criminal Police Office (LKA) took over the investigation. According to a police spokeswoman, it is assumed that the fire was deliberately set.
