The Komische Oper is showing a new type of music festival entitled Schall&Rausch at four locations in the Kindl area in Neukölln, with performances pointing to the future

Pop should meet classic, dance with blues and punk. The Komische Oper invites you to the first Schall&Rausch festival from February 17th to 26th, 2023.

Around 100 participants can be seen at 20 events at four locations on the Kindl site in Neukölln. The program includes concerts, debates and the world premiere of “The Discreet Charm of Reduction” (today, 7 p.m., Vollgutlager). Musicians and theater makers Schorsch and his team will deal with topics such as growth and sustainability.

In “Theatre Spectacles” with dancer Hanako Hayakawa, the Belgian director Benjamin Abel Meirhaeghe investigates novel love rituals (today, 9 p.m., SchwuZ). And performance artist Tianzhuo Chen promises an immersive experience in “Trance” (February 24, 2 p.m. to 2 a.m., Kindl Center).
