Outside the top clubs in the Eredivisie, two players have stood out to me for a long time. Jens Odgaard of RKC and Mees de Wit of PEC. The latter is lucky that Dick Schreuder has become his trainer. Under Art Langeler, PEC had already been given up, now the players believe in it again. I would have done the same if a trainer had come in and immediately told all those pushy people who keep an eye on whether they are not training too hard that they didn’t have to tell him anything for the time being.
