Due to two accidents in the southeast corner of Drenthe, both the N863 and the N854 are temporarily closed. Cars collided on both roads.
On the N863 things went wrong at Nieuw-Schoonebeek. Two cars became involved in a collision there. Fire brigade, police, ambulance and a trauma helicopter rushed out. One of the people involved was trapped. The fire brigade had to remove a door from a car to free the victim.
Due to a head-tail collision, the N854 is also closed for the time being. Two cars were involved in the accident. Two passengers were taken to the hospital.
