An 82-year-old woman from Roosendaal died after she was hit by a motorist on her bicycle on Wednesday. The accident happened on the Bovendonk in Roosendaal.
The Bergen op Zoom and Roosendaal police announced this on their WhatsApp channel.
The accident happened on Wednesday morning around a quarter to ten. The woman was seriously injured after a collision with a car. She was rushed to hospital under the supervision of a trauma doctor.
A police spokesperson does not know when exactly the woman died. The investigation into the circumstances has been completed and nothing further will be announced.
