A collection campaign has been set up for the children of Joeweela who was shot in Gouda last week by her ex-husband Driekus K. “The proceeds must be a safety net for these children, so that they have to be less concerned about their financial future,” the initiator writes.
Joeweela was shot around half past three last Tuesday afternoon on the Bosweg in Gouda, in front of her two young children. Her ex-husband is the suspected shooter. The 39-year-old woman died of her injuries on the spot.
The same day, Driekus K. was found seriously injured in the dunes at the Black Pad in Scheveningen after an hour -long search. The police assume that he has robbed himself of life.
According to the initiator of The collection campaign the family has announced that it has no objection. On Tuesday evening, 24 donations were made and the amount collected was 640 euros. The goal has been set at 6000 euros for the time being.
