“My colleagues are quite proud,” says Stan Niesten. The marathon runner from Beverwijk works three days a week at DGP Media in Amsterdam. “I opened my laptop this morning, but I haven’t touched a key yet. They are very curious about how I experienced it.”
Beverwijk boy
One of Niesten’s colleagues is Jesse Blom. He follows performance closely and especially appreciates the person next to the athlete. “I think his level-headedness is very nice. He will never act too high, because he is good at his sport. He is just a very Beverwijk boy.”
