Ilary Blasi states that, according to a decision of the civil court of Rome, responsibility for the extraordinary maintenance costs fell to Totti. Despite this, the former footballer did not provide an answer or concrete interventions, prompting the TV presenter to ask his lawyers to file an emergency measure before the civil judge.

The story of the fallen ceiling is not an isolated episode, but fits into a framework already characterized by several disputes between the two ex-spouses. After years of marriage and the separation made official in 2022, several legal issues have emerged, including the management of disputed luxury assets and other pending civil cases. This new case adds to the events that already see Totti under the judicial spotlight for other delicate issues, including the accusation of abandonment of a minor in the context of an episode with his daughter Isabel, for which the public prosecutor requested the dismissal, but against which Ilary Blasi opposed.
The complaint for the collapsed ceiling highlights how, years after the end of their relationship, the relationships between the two public figures remain tense and characterized by frequent judicial tussles. The developments of this new legal front will now be followed by respective lawyers and by the civil court of Romeawaiting a decision on Totti’s competence for the maintenance of the property. Totti is assisted by Antonio Conte and Gianluca Tognozzi, while Blasi is assisted by Alessandro Simeone, Pompilia Rossi and Fabio Lattanzi.
