The KNMI has issued code yellow for Drenthe due to locally dense fog. The warning lasts until 11 a.m. tomorrow morning.
According to the weather institute, the dense fog can cause disruption to traffic. Visibility may be less than 200 meters. The fog, which has been plaguing various parts of the Netherlands for some time, is persistent.
The KNMI expects the fog to spread tonight. “Only in the second half of Saturday morning does the fog seem to clear everywhere.”
Code yellow is also in force in Overijssel. The warning had already been issued for Limburg, North Brabant and Gelderland.
