The KNMI issued code yellow this morning for Drenthe, among others because of dense fog. In the province, the view can be locally less than 200 meters, which can lead to dangerous situations on the road.
The warning applies at least until the end of the morning. Motorists are advised to adjust their speed and to keep sufficient distance.
In addition to Drenthe, code Geel also applies in Groningen, Friesland, Utrecht, Flevoland and Noord-Holland, with the exception of the Wadden area.
