The film CODA from director Sian Heder won the Academy Award for best picture on Sunday night. CODA, an acronym for ‘child of deaf parents’ also won in the categories best screenplay and best supporting actor (Troy Kotsur), making it the big winner of the evening. The science fiction movie dune however, won the most awards; six in total.
