A dream has come true for Erblin Osmani. Professional coach Vincent Kompany integrated the midfielder into his training.
Bayern talent Erblin Osmani was apparently allowed to take part in Munich’s professional training on Thursday. This is what “Bild” reports. According to the tabloid, it was the first time that coach Vincent Kompany brought the midfielder to the professionals.
Osmani still plays in the U17 team of the record champions and leads the team as captain at the Munich youth camp. The left-footed player has already played two games for the German U17 and has even played seven times for the DFB’s U16 team.
Osmani is respected in Bayern’s youth department and is considered a great talent and a strong player. Because he stands out so much, he not only has nine appearances for the U17 (one goal, four assists), but has also been able to prove himself in two U19 games.
Osmani came from TSV Milbertshofen in the north of Munich in 2017 at the age of eight. However, it will be difficult for Osmani to play in the professional team. Of the field players, only Alphonso Davies is injured. The left-back tore a muscle fiber in the 3-2 win over Frankfurt last weekend, but the Canadian international is now back in running training.
In Kompany’s first season there was also criticism that Kompany was not integrating enough talent. That has now changed in his second season with the inclusion of Lennart Karl. Karl made his debut at the Club World Cup and has been impressing with strong performances ever since.
