For coach Urs Fischer from Bundesliga club Union Berlin, leading the table before the next difficult home game against Borussia Mönchengladbach is secondary.
“First and foremost it’s about three points and not about the table situation. Three points would be great. The other thing is a sight that you obviously like,” said Fischer before the game on Sunday (3:30 p.m. / DAZN) against Borussia Moenchengladbach.
Before the day of the match, Union was one point ahead of FC Bayern with 23 points. While striker Sven Michel is again an option for the matchday squad after his corona infection, Fischer warned of the weak Gladbachers.
“Although they have suffered one or two injuries, they still have enough quality to win a Bundesliga game,” said Fischer, whose team lost 2-1 at VfL Bochum last matchday.
