Maurizio Jacobacci is no longer the coach at TSV 1860 Munich. The 60-year-old was released with immediate effect. Assistant coach Stefan Reisinger also has to go. The club confirmed this in a statement.
“New impulses” through a change of coach

Jacobacci was Ismaik’s preferred candidate
Maurizio Jacobacci came to TSV 1860 Munich at the end of February as Michael Köllner’s successor. The Swiss was a preferred candidate for investor Hasan Ismaik. But the 60-year-old Coach was never able to stabilize TSV 1860.
Reisinger had been the Lions’ assistant coach since the summer of 2022, initially under Jacobacci’s predecessor Köllner. In the 3rd league, TSV 1860 slipped to 15th place due to their recent 3-0 defeat at Borussia Dortmund II.
