Coach Alois Schwartz extends Sandhausen until 2024

2nd league

Sandhausen (dpa) – Second division soccer team SV Sandhausen and coach Alois Schwartz have prematurely extended the contract, which expires in June, by two more years. The club, which has not yet been finally saved, announced this immediately before the game against FC Schalke 04 kicked off.

The new contract ends in 2024. If the league was achieved, the working paper would have been extended by option anyway. The 55-year-old coach took over from Baden-Württemberg for the second time at the end of September and has scored 34 points in 24 games so far.

“Working at SV Sandhausen has long since become an affair of the heart for me,” Schwartz said in a club statement.
