Club World Cup in handball: defending champion SC Magdeburg reaches the semi-finals

Defending champions SC Magdeburg also won their second group game at the Club World Cup in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and thus reached the semi-finals. Against Khaleej Club Saihat from the host country, the German handball champion prevailed with some effort 35:29 (17:14). The best Magdeburg shooters were Daniel Pettersson (9).
