Club Brugge rents out Balanta to Schalke 04
The nine-time Colombian international was taken over by blue-black from Swiss FC Basel in September 2019. Before that he played for the Argentinian top club River Plate. The 29-year-old defensive midfielder played a total of 112 games – mostly as a substitute – for Club, winning three national championships and one Supercup. He still has an agreement in the Jan Breydel Stadium until the end of this season.
