A clothing container at the Van Greunsvenpark in Vlijmen completely went up in flames on Tuesday evening. Last week the fire brigade in the village had to respond several times to burning containers. While extinguishing the fire, the police checked a group of young people.
Around a quarter to ten the flames came out of the container. The fire brigade arrived on the scene, as did the police. While the fire brigade got the fire under control, police with three vehicles checked a group of young people at a nearby supermarket.
The fire brigade in Vlijmen had to respond to container fires more frequently last week.
Car fire
According to local residents, there has been nuisance from young people in the park for weeks. They also make a connection with a car fire at the town hall on Juliastraat a few weeks ago and point to the same group.
